Player safety
Responsible Gambling
Gambling should be treated as paid entertainment, not a source of income. Licensed UK operators must provide tools to limit deposits, losses and session time. National schemes exist when play feels difficult to control.
Self-exclusion and limits
GamStop blocks access across UKGC-licensed operators for a chosen period of six months, one year or five years. Individual brands also offer cooling-off periods and account closures through their responsible gambling menus. Deposit limits set under UK rules apply per operator and may take 24 hours to increase after a request.
Warning signs
- Spending more than you planned or chasing losses
- Borrowing money or neglecting bills to fund play
- Hiding gambling activity from family or colleagues
- Feeling anxious or irritable when not gambling
